Deep Moisture Mist Cream

Anyone who has tried to rub a cream into a dog knows how it goes. You part the coat, get some on your fingers, and most of it ends up on the fur rather than the skin underneath. On a thick coat it barely reaches at all.

This is the same idea delivered differently. A fine mist, dense enough to behave like a moisturiser rather than a water spray, that travels down through the coat and lands where it's meant to. One second, no rubbing in, no rinsing.

Where it sits in the routine

If the Basil Soothing Mist is daily maintenance, this is the richer option — for coats and skin that need more than a light mist can give. Some dogs use one or the other. Dogs with genuinely dry skin tend to end up here.

What's doing the work

Ceramide NP. The barrier ingredient — it sits in the spaces between skin cells and slows the rate at which moisture escapes.

Colloidal oatmeal. Finely milled whole oat, and one of the oldest comfort ingredients there is for skin that feels tight or irritable. Recognisable to anyone who has bought it for themselves.

Phytosphingosine and panthenol. Both work on how skin feels rather than how it looks — the difference between a coat that's been moisturised and skin that's actually comfortable.

Eight forms of hyaluronic acid. Different molecular sizes so some hold water at the surface while others carry it further in, which is what gives the mist its cream-like weight without any greasiness.

Finished with shea butter, jojoba, macadamia, centella and rosa rugosa.
